Whoa, it's amazing how just trying to have a decent living space can turn into such a nightmare! Housing that doesn't leak, is not filled with vermin, or the walls aren't falling down around you should be an inalienable right. Especially with the price of rentals these days. At the final moveout walk through of a rental house that I once lived in one of the property managers said that he found a small amount of dirt on the stairway banister, and charged a fee that was deducted from the security deposit. I later received a call from the office manager asking if I were okay with the charge because even he could see how petty the fee was. This is America, and capitalism is alive and kicking. I will begrudge no one the opportunity to make a living, or a reasonable profit, but taking advantage of people just because you can is unconscionable! Glad that you were able to find someplace less mind bending, and more livable! Thanks
