"Third most black people have mixed ancestors( I think you mean ancestry) and it is entirely possible that more black people than white people have actual slaver forefathers."

An interesting line of thought, and possibly true. Of course this is not because said black people chose this mixed ancestry at the time. It was forced upon them when white slaveholders and other white men raped African women causing many of them to become impregnated, in turn causing most of us to indeed have Caucasian blood in our DNA. I myself am (6) six percent Caucasian. I am pretty sure that my ancestor who gave me this bloodline did not do it through her own volition.

And as for the percentage of whites who owned slaves at the peak of slavery (around 1860) there is convincing evidence that at least 20% of the free people of the states of the confederacy owned at least one slave, with the states of South Carolina, and Mississippi having at least 50% of their free people owning slaves. That one percent theory that I think that you are alluding to is one where only one percent of the confederate states slaveholders owned (200) two hundred, or more slaves. You can do your own research on this issue. The information that I am putting forth came from a U.S. civil war expert named Al Mackey. This may well be another reason why Critical Race Theory should be taught in the public schools of America. The more accurate knowledge is taught the better off all of us will be.
