I don't believe that Jesus would be considered a Stoic, yet there is scripture that says, if you go into a house and the householder does not want to hear what you have to say; dust your feet off at the door and leave in peace. In other words, why argue with someone who does not want to hear or understand your point of view? Dialogue is important in the world that we live in, it's just being able to discern what and who to have that dialogue with that will be your greatest task.
