I also agree with most of your sentiments. Anyone can be ruthless and challenging. It's all about ones character, and their choices. Many hands will definitely make the load lighter, and the job easier. Not voicing your disdain, or "complaining" in many instances may not be the answer though. The squeaky wheel often gets the oil. We just need to decide what's worth squeaking over.
