Hi Jon. I don't think that this is the premise that she is espousing here. Some people will deny that racism exists in the Black community...sure it does, as in every community. (remember learned behavior) The issue is not that, the issue is power, privilege, and control. That does not exist in the Black community as a whole. So, it is not the same as saying "blue lives matter," because at the point when some random Black person is being assaulted or killed, they certainly often do not possess those attributes. When you can say we all have the same opportunities, rights, and access to that power then and only then will it be a fair playing field!
